Terms and conditions of sale

Custom bottles. These terms are appended to every quote and accepted when it is signed.

Appendix to the quote — only the amounts on the quote are binding.

The product

Models — PRO 600 ml bottle and MAX 800 ml bottle, 75 mm body on both. Same printed surface: one print proof and one set of screens cover both models, which can therefore be mixed on the same order at no extra cost, provided the artwork and the inks are identical.
Minimum quantity — 125 bottles per model, per order.
Colours — See the colour chart. Colours can be mixed within one print run, from 50 bottles per colour.

Technical — Screen printing only, halftone up to 70 %. Slight offsets (0.5 mm) and slight colour variations between parts are inherent to the process.
Printed surface — H 85 mm × W 230 mm around the circumference, identical on both models. The print does not close the loop: with a body 75 mm in diameter, i.e. 235.6 mm of circumference, about 6 mm stay bare at the seam, where the screen stops.
Colours — From 1 to 5 colours, in the Spécialités T.A. range. On a dark bottle a white underlay may be needed: it counts as one extra colour.
Set-up costs — A contribution to artwork and screen costs, per colour, on the first order only (amount on the quote). Modifying existing artwork is free. The print colours are fixed for the whole order: any ink change during the run means a screen clean, charged in addition.
Custom colour — Development cost per Pantone colour outside the range (amount on the quote).

Required format — One vector file per print colour, plus one file of the complete design. Fonts converted to outlines. Formats: Illustrator (.ai), EPS or vector PDF.
Dimensions — At the exact dimensions of the print area.
Files we cannot use — Files for CMYK, offset or letterpress; low-resolution images. A photograph can only be printed in a single colour and loses its detail.
Otherwise, on paper — A flat document, neither folded nor stapled, as close as possible to the size of the print area.

Price — Volume pricing, in euros excluding VAT. The order must be delivered in one go, to one place, in one name.
Print proof — Every order is confirmed by a signed print proof, the sole reference in the event of a dispute.
Delivery time — Stated on the quote; it starts from receipt of the signed print proof.
Quantity delivered — In screen printing, a tolerance of ± 5 % on the quantity ordered is deemed acceptable, invoiced at the order's unit price.
Shipping — Ex works (EXW), carriage charged by quantity band (see quote). Above 500 bottles, carriage is quoted according to the delivery address.
Packing — PRO: carton of 125 units, about 12 kg. MAX: carton of 80 units, about 10 kg. About 0.16 m³ per carton.
Payment — Terms stated on the quote; no discount for early payment.
Late payment — Any sum unpaid at its due date bears interest at the ECB refinancing rate plus 10 points, in addition to the flat €40 indemnity for recovery costs.

Artistic property — Sketches, texts, drawings, artwork and plans supplied by Spécialités T.A. remain its exclusive property, even when invoiced, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Brands and artwork — Spécialités T.A. accepts no liability for the brands and artwork reproduced on the customer's instructions: it is for the customer to ensure that they are not infringing.
Acceptance and disputes — Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms. Reservations on delivery must be raised with the carrier and confirmed in writing within three days. French law applies.
